At BuzzFactory, we believe that inbound marketing can be a powerful tool for behavioral health companies to grow better, help more.
(And if you’re still not sure what inbound is, check out our blog post here!)
But when we talk to business owners, they’re sometimes skeptical. The prevailing attitude is, “I needed results, YESTERDAY.” Some people don’t want to invest the time and effort that a successful inbound strategy can require.
And truly, the statistics can be intimidating: Most agencies predict that an average inbound marketing campaign will take six to nine months to show results.
At BuzzFactory, we don’t do just average.
While it’s true that some cases might take that long to fully deliver, we have a history of executing campaigns that pack a punch in a much shorter timeline.
In summer 2017, we began working with a well-known client in the behavioral health space. He was relying mostly on referrals and email marketing to drive business.
After completing a full audit of his business, we identified content marketing as a great way to build his engagements, on the cheap.
We rolled out a content plan featuring two blog posts a week, podcast episodes, and consistent social media posts. At the same time, we overhauled his SEO and redesigned the homepage of his website to improve user experience and increase conversions.
The results did not take six to nine months to show up. They were immediate.
In the first month alone, we doubled traffic to his website, nearly doubled Facebook engagements, and got 12 times as many engagements on Twitter.
That all translated to greater conversions further down the line.
Of course, results like this are hardly guaranteed. The results of a similar campaign will vary depending on a particular company’s marketing mix.
